I developed Couples and Family Therapy Center with a passion to provide services you can trust. Reaching out for help is difficult, and it can be overwhelming trying to find a "good" therapist. I hope to end that search and help you feel confident that you made the right choice by coming to our clinic.
I work primarily with adults and can help you with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship concerns. I specialize in couples counseling which means I have dedicated a vast amount of my time to mastering couples therapy and couple and family relationships. I strongly encourage anyone seeking couples counseling to ensure the therapist is well trained, or they could become frustrated by the services and give up too soon. I am passionate about couples getting quality services to have the best chance at reviving their relationship and keeping their family together.
I also specialize in anxiety disorders and continue to identify the most effective approaches to emotional health as brain science and psychology continue to evolve. I love to find the most efficient ways to provide services and to reach your goals. I will customize a plan with you to address both your individual and relationship's health to get you fast yet lasting results.
Couples Counseling
I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, a model specifically developed to heal couple and family relationships at the core, reaching the deepest level of attachment. I can work with you individually or as a couple to help you strengthen your bond and improve your sexual relationship. I help couples decrease conflict, improve their connection and communication, address their sexual needs, repair the trust after an affair, or establish healthy intimacy after recovery from an addiction, including sexual addiction.
Individual Counseling / Anxiety Disorders / Trauma
I also have specialized training in EMDR. This is a very efficient and unique approach to therapy that also helps make deeper more permanent shifts in moods, emotions, beliefs, and behaviors, making a significant change in your life. EMDR works very well for trauma, panic attacks, and moods or behaviors that seem very stuck and where traditional talk therapy has not been helpful enough.
Intensives
Intensives are available for individuals or couples either in crisis, or as a jump start to therapy. Intensives are a concentrated time of counseling, such as 2-3 days for a few hours each day. These can be very helpful for coping with the discovery of an affair, couples on the brink of divorce, or to get a good jump start to counseling for faster results. This is a cash service only.
I am always working to not only improve my own therapy skills, but to also help train, supervise, and consult other therapists to ensure better services for couples and families beyond my reach. I am dedicated to improving the quality and outcome specifically of couples therapy because I feel this is one of the most important relationships we ever have, and our children depend on it.
Supervision/Consultation/Training:
I am available for MFT supervision, and for EFT supervision. The hours of EFT supervision do count toward certification.
Individual supervision is available.
